Stanley Mignerey

Stanley Mignerey of Sardinia, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 96. He was born to the late Stanley and Bessie Mignerey on April 24, 1928.

Stanley is survived by his loving children: Patti Smith of Amelia, Ohio, David (Rita) Mignerey of Sardinia, Ohio and Steve (Pammela) Mignerey of Bethel, Ohio; his caring son-in-law, David Jones of Hillsboro, Ohio; his treasured grandchildren: Christy, Mike, Linda, Brian, Jim, Mandy, Jeremy, Jennifer, Sabrina, Julie, and Daniel; also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna (née Ellis) Mignerey; his second wife, Joyce Holbrook-Mignerey; his daughter, Sandra Jones and his sister, Marye Vance.

Stanley was the owner/operator of Village Drugs in Mt. Orab. He served as mayor of Sardinia, Ohio for 12 years and was a long-time member of the Sardinia church of Christ. He was also a 70-year member of F&AM Sardinia Lodge 254.

Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Sardinia Church of Christ, 7130 Bachman Road, Sardinia, Ohio 45171. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, February 24, 2025, at the church. Burial Sardinia Cemetery. Pastor Jeremy Mignerey and Pastor Robert Ballmeyer officiating.
