Starla Dawn Bills

Starla Dawn Bills, a cherished soul, left this world on December 24, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on May 22, 1975, Starla blossomed into a loving mother, devoted wife, and caring sister, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and joy for her family.

For 28 beautiful years, she shared her life and love with her husband, Wally Bills. Their bond was a testament to true partnership, one filled with laughter and shared dreams. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home that welcomed all who entered.

Starla was a proud mother to her children: Sci (Tyler) Fletcher, Timothy Barrett, Autumn Bills, Hunter Bills and Alex Bills. In her eyes, each child was a precious gift, and she took immense joy in every moment spent with them, guiding and supporting them as they grew. Her heart expanded even further with the arrival of her beloved grandchildren, Braylen, Cole, and Lucas, who brought her countless smiles and laughter. She cherished every opportunity to be a grandmother, creating memories that will forever echo in their hearts.

Starla was deeply rooted in her familial connections. She is remembered by her siblings, Neena Gould, Jaimee Whiteacre, Kenny Helfin Jr. and Tammy Hunt and her father, Terry Gould, who held her dear. Her mother, Alma Jean (Kenny) Helfin, also played an important role in shaping the kind and nurturing spirit that defined Starla.

Though her life met an untimely end, it is important to remember those who have passed on alongside her, especially her sister, Tanika Gould. The bond that they shared continues to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those left behind.

Starla thrived in the simplicity of life, finding joy in gardening, her beloved animals, and, above all, her grandkids and family. Her nurturing hands tended to both her garden and her family, blooming beauty and warmth in every corner of their lives. She radiated kindness and love, providing strength and encouragement whenever needed.

A visitation will be held in remembrance of Starla on January 2, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Megie Funeral Home 104 Spice Street, Mount Orab, Ohio. All those whose lives were touched by Starla are invited to share their memories and celebrate the incredible person she was.

Starla Dawn Bills will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will forever linger in the hearts of her loved ones, a guiding light that will never fade.
