Stephen E. Wilhite

Stephen E. Wilhite, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the age of 74. He was the beloved husband of Kathaleen R. (née Bauer) Wilhite, cherished stepfather of Rick Groves, Robin Landrum, Renee (Daniel) Bennett, Rebecca (Brent) Boaz, and father of David Wilhite, proud Papa of 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and dear brother of four sisters. Steve retired as Chief Architect from America Online, was the inventor of GIF, and received the Webby Lifetime Achievement Award in New York. He was an avid camper and loved travelling and camping. Even with all his accomplishments, he remained a very humble, kind, and good man. Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 6-8 PM at the Megie Funeral Home and Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 11 AM.
