Steve Southerland

Steve Southerland of Amelia, Ohio passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Steve is survived by his children, Jamie (Brad) Keller, Ashley (Billy) Wilson, Jeremy (Kim) Southerland. His loving grandchildren, Bradley, Jaden, Aubrey, Brodey, and Dylan. Steve is also survived by four of his siblings, Timothy Smith, Ernie Southerland, Henry Southerland, and Dean Southerland.

Along with Steve’s parents John and Maudie Southerland, he is also preceded in death by the love of his life, Maria Hassert, and six brothers and three sisters.

Steve was a real outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing and kayaking. Steve was a true handy man and could fix or build anything and above all else his love for his family.

Steve will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.

Services for Steve Southerland will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial visitation begins at 4:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Krebsfanger officiating.
