Steven "Steve" T. Wells

Steven "Steve" T. Wells, born on October 14, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, departed this life on January 30, 2026, also in Cincinnati. He was a loving husband, devoted family man, and a remarkable individual whose adventurous spirit and practical joking nature left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating his deep sense of duty and commitment. After his military service, he found joy in various pursuits, including a passion for old cars and tinkering, where he embraced his inner mad scientist—always curious to understand how things worked by taking them apart and expertly putting them back together.

In a beautiful union that lasted over 38 years, Steve married the love of his life, Cathaleen (née Olguin) Wells, at the Pico 1st Baptist Church in Pico Rivera, California. His marriage was a testament to their deep love and respect for one another, as well as shared values that anchored their life together.

A true believer in God, Steve was a longtime member of the Kenwood Baptist Church, where his faith and devotion were a guiding light in his life. He cherished his family deeply and is survived by his beloved wife, Cathaleen, along with his loving sisters: Karen Laycock, Jan Wells, and Kim (Dan) Petrocelli. Additionally, Steve brought joy to his home through his cherished fur babies, Miko and LuLu.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Jacqueline M. Wells, and his brother Robert Wells. Steve's memory will be lovingly preserved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss his laughter, camaraderie, and the warmth he brought into their lives.

Steve Wells was indeed a remarkable man whose adventurous spirit, dedication to family, and genuine kindness will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Kenwood Baptist Church, 8341 Kenwood Rd., Kenwood, Ohio 45236.
