Susan C. Anderson

Susan C. Anderson, a cherished member of the Mount Orab Global Methodist Church and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Batavia, Ohio. Born on November 20, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, Susan lived a life full of love, creativity, and devotion to her family.

Susan was widely known for her passion for painting and her generous spirit in sharing this gift with others. She loved teaching painting classes, where her creativity and kindness inspired many. Above all, Susan treasured the time she spent with family and friends, making memories that will be held dear by all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Myron W. Anderson; her loving children, Kirsten (Michael) Conway and Craig Anderson; and her grandchildren: David Conway, Josh Conway, and Randy Stephens. Her legacy extends to her great-grandchildren: Delaney, Hudson, and Emelia, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sibling, Frank "Butch" (Eileen) Braasch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Rita Braasch; her daughter, Kim Anderson; and her sibling, Gerald Braasch.

A visitation to honor Susan's memory will be held on April 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Both events will take place at the Mt. Orab Global Methodist Church, located at 212 Church Street in Mount Orab, Ohio.

Susan's enduring spirit, kindness, and creativity touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered with great affection and respect by all who had the privilege to know her. Her family and community mourn her loss deeply, yet they find comfort in the wonderful memories she leaves behind.
