Susan Marie Gillespie

Susan Marie Gillespie of Eastgate, Ohio formerly of Bethel, Ohio passed away in Batavia, Ohio on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the age of 67.  She was born to the late John and Mary (nee Fisher) Rutley on November 04, 1955 in Silver Springs, Maryland.

Susan is survived by her beloved Ex-Husband Eric Gillespie of Williamsburg, Ohio, her loving children Nicole (BJ) Shoemake of Williamsburg, Ohio, and Matt (Megan) Gillespie of Bethel, Ohio; her adored grandchildren Kadence and Reagan Shoemake of Williamsburg, Ohio, Brianna Gillespie of Bethel, Ohio and Khloe Wolfer of Bethel, Ohio; along with her caring sister Sharon Bouchard of Annapolis, Maryland.

In addition to her parents Susan was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Martin.

Susan was retired from General Cable, she was a master gardener.  Susan was the owner of Gillespie Gardens, and was extremally proud of the Gardens at Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the True Life Christian Church.
