Terry "Turk" C. Ogden

Terry "Turk" C. Ogden, born on August 15, 1948, peacefully departed this life on March 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, passion, and love that touched the hearts of many. A devoted family man, Terry shared an enduring 58 years with Elaine (Lucas) Ogden , during which they created a loving home filled with cherished memories.

Terry was a proud father to his daughter, Terre Ogden of Hamersville, OH. His love for family extended beyond the immediate, encompassing his siblings: Beulah Morris of Mt. Orab, OH, Loretta Morris of Goshen, OH, Carol Jean Florence of Cynthiana, KY, Bill Ogden of Lynchburg, OH, Larry Ogden of Mt. Orab, OH, and Allen Ogden of Williamsburg, OH. He will be sorely missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who knew him as a friend and mentor.

Terry dedicated more than 50 years to his career, retiring from Mauser Packaging, where he made a significant impact and built lasting relationships. His involvement in sports extended beyond his work life; he served as a sports official for over 44 years, affecting the lives of many young athletes in volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball. His commitment to the community also included coaching softball, a role through which he inspired countless players.

He attended Mt. Nebo Global Methodist Church. His friends and family will gather to celebrate his life and legacy with services held at Mt. Nebo Global Methodist Church 11693 St Rt. 774, Bethel, OH. 45106 The visitation will take place on March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

Terry’s journey has come to an end, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Ogden, and his sister, Alta McCormick. As we reflect on the life of Terry C. Ogden, we remember a man who embodied dedication, love, and the joy of community.
