Thomas Augst
Thomas August of Williamsburg, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by those who loved him on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the age of 80. He was born February 8, 1941 to the late Edward and Leotha (nee Stone) August in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Phyllis Augst; his loving children Thomas and Jessica Augst, of Amelia, Ohio, Michael and Destiny Augst of Landon, Kentucky, and Reginold and Katie Augst of Wisconsin; his 21 adored grandchildren; and his 12 cherished great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his children Sharon Roberson and Harvey Augst; and his siblings Reginold Augst, Shirley Haynes, and Shelia Whitmer.
Thomas served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, he was retired from CG&E after 38 years. Thomas was a member of the Bantam Wesleyan Holiness Church in Bantam, Ohio, and he loved to go fishing and being outdoors.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, Ohio. Reverend Stephen Robbins officiating. Military Honors will be bestowed at the Graveside by the local VFW.
