Tommy Lee Smith Jr., 47, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 11th, 2024. Born on April 26th, 1977, in Falls Church, Virginia, he was a passionate individual who cherished living life on his terms and often enjoyed having the final say in conversations. He had a wonderful sense of humor and possessed a remarkable talent for imitating voices and actions, which always brought joy and laughter to those around him. While he frequently teased others, it was all in good spirits, as he loved to make people laugh. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, demonstrating a deep compassion for others. Family gatherings were particularly special to him, as he treasured the time spent with loved ones.


He had a deep passion for the Dallas Cowboys, which brought him joy and pain throughout his life. As a dedicated youth soccer and baseball coach, he inspired and nurtured countless young athletes, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. He began his career as a flooring installer, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment. Over the years, he evolved into an award-winning Account Manager at Carpetland, a testament to his perseverance and dedication to his profession. His journey reflects a life filled with passion, hard work, and an unwavering focus on helping others. He was a steadfast husband, devoted father, cherished son, protective brother, and beloved papaw who passed away surrounded by his family.


He is survived by his wife, Kerry Smith (Wahoff); Children, Korey (Hailey) Smith, Matthew (Alaina) Smith, Cameron (Jake) Smith, Jasmine Meyer, Shylah Cox; Grandchildren, Kayden Smith, Delilah Reuss, Christian Whiteker, Madison Whiteker, Anna Smith, Riley Robertson; former wife, April Smith (Mounce); Parents, MSG David Burger Sr., Cathy Burger (Roop); Siblings, David (Carrie) Burger Jr., Donald (Samantha) Burger, Earl Foran, Tammy Smith, Mary (Brandon) Smith, Krystel (Matt) Hodak (Burger); Nephews, Jonathan (Rachel) Burger, Sonny Johnson, Ethan Hodak; and Dog, Loki.
