Tommy J. Smith

Tommy J. Smith passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the age of 89. He was born to the late Willard and Helen (neé Jones) Smith in Benton, IL. He was the beloved husband to Curlene (neé Collins) Smith for 71 years; dedicated Dad to Mike (Linda) Smith, Tommy (Kim) Smith, Jeremy Smith and Jesse (Brittany) Smith; proud Gran of Missy Smith, Amy Smith, JeNiece (Tim) Christie, Michaela (Brandon Brinson) Smith, Chelbee (David) Baker, Dakota Smith, Justin Smith, Nathan Smith, Jada Smith, his great grandchildren, Wally (Alexandria) Cosand, Candace Smith, Aliya Christie, Sebastian Lee, Jadyn Baker, Kodi Pickelheimer, Raelin Baker, and his great-great grandchildren, Cole Smith, Emmalyn Kay Smith, Leo Cosand and Hendrix Cosand; dear brother of Nelda Rose Smith and David Kearney; and will also be miss by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Willard Nelson “Dusty” Smith, his twin great-great grandchildren, Riley and Karma Cosand, and two siblings, Georgia Smith and Charles Jasper Smith.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10 AM at the Goshen Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Rd., Goshen, OH 45122, officiated by Pastor Elizabeth Reed.

Interment will be at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, OH.
