Vernice A. (Nee Weaver) Fain

Vernice A. Fain of Felicity, Ohio formerly of Crab Orchard, Kentucky passed away at home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the age of 89. She was born to the late Nathaniel and Lottie (nee Rector) Weaver on July 26, 1933, in Lincoln County, Kentucky.

Vernice is survived by her loving children John R. Fain Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Thomas W. Fain of New Vienna, Ohio, Trina M. (John Fields) Fain of Felicity, Ohio, Johanna Latham of Batavia, Ohio, and Rochelle (Gray) Berry Sr., of Moscow, Ohio; 10 cherished grandchildren, 17 adored great grandchildren, and 15 dear great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Vernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband John R. Fain Sr., 2 grandchildren, 5 brothers, 8 sisters, 1 half-brother, and 2 half-sisters.

Vernice was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Sophus, Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154, visitation will begin at 11:00 am and run until the time of service. Burial will follow at Mt. Orab Cemetery.
