Victoria Lee (Ellis) Miller

Victoria Lee (Ellis) Miller, 68, of Georgetown, Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 15, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. She was born on January 3, 1956. Vicki was a faithful wife who loved the Lord, her family, and her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilfred and Marjorie (Ring) Ellis, brother Keith and sister-in-law Patricia (Schroeder) Ellis, father-in-law Albert Miller, brother-in-law Richard Hitt, nephew David Hitt, and an unborn child.

Vicki graduated from Eastern Local High School in 1974, received her undergraduate degree in education from Wilmington College, and eventually earned her Master’s degree in education from Wright State University. On November12, 1977, Vicki married Carl Edward Miller in the United Methodist (Sardinia Hope) Church in Sardinia, Ohio. Vicki is survived by husband Carl, son Matthew (Erica Hurless) Miller of Highland, Ohio, son Jared (Erin Gustin) Miller of Xenia, Ohio, son Aaron (Ashley Cain) Miller of Bloomington, Indiana, and daughter Sally Miller of Amelia, Ohio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren – Tressel, Mackinzie, Jocelyn, Annabelle, Kaylee, Archer, Acton, Mattilyn, and Alētheia as well as 1 great-grandchild Myra, mother-in-law Fae Miller, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and a number of nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at the Sardinia Church of Christ at 10:00 am Monday, August 19, 2024, with visitation the evening before on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the church from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at the Arnheim Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pastor Marion Clifton officiating.
