Virgil "Ernie" Fowler

Virgil “Ernie” Fowler passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories for his family and friends. Ernie was a sweet and gentle person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ernie proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the West Union Church of Christ, Western Hills Cheviot Lodge #140 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, and the Order of the Eastern Star of Ohio in West Union. He retired from Weir ESCO.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janice F. Fowler; his children, Andrew Chandler and Kim Lee; his grandchildren, Kyndahl, Kandice, and Kassidy Tucker; his siblings, Bill (Mary) Fowler, John Fowler, Kathy Fowler, and Beth Fowler (Randy Embertson); and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Fowler and Kaitlyn Walters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Martha Fowler, and his brother, Robert Fowler.

Ernie will be remembered for his kindness, gentle nature, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed.
