Beloved wife of Stanley Spencer of Winchester, OH; loving mother of Stanley Vaughn (Barbara) Spencer of Caney, KY and Barry Lynn (Cynthia) Spencer of Fayetteville, OH; caring grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Lillian Vance. Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Gobel and Hazel Vance and five brothers and sisters, Jack Vance, Mitchell Vance, Nell Stossell, Mary Ellen Vance and Venice Easterling. Entered into rest Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 81. Mrs. Spencer was a member of Dodson United Methodist Church. Friends will be received 6-8 PM Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154 and 10-11 AM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Index Community Church, 1749 W Main St., West Liberty, KY 41742. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Index Community Church. Interment Vance Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Memorial Donations may be directed to the Hospice of Hope.
