Wanda Lucille Kelch - Willey

Wanda Lucille Kelch – Willey went home to be with family, friends, and our Lord and Savior on August 30, 2018 at 5:57am, at the age of 93.

Born on December 7, 1924 to the union of Ethel and Lenna Hancock. She had five sisters – Thelma, Hazel, Mildred, Louise, and Betty.  One brother – Robert Elmo.

Her first husband was Mirl Willey. To this union there are 14 children – Carl, Bobby, Johnny, Dennis, Dale, Sue Ann, Judy, Donald, Walter, Ethel, George, Barbara, Patty, and Jeffrey. From these unions were born: Forty-Six Grandchildren, 82 Great Grandchildren, and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Wanda, as you can see, had one of the greatest jobs on the face of this Earth – Being our Mother!!! She had several other talents as well that include: Wife, Baker, Seamstress, Nurse, Doctor, Psychologist, Counselor, Bible Teacher, Mentor, Mediator, Hair Stylist, Gardener, and Singer, just to name a few.  The list could go on and on.

Her first husband, Mirl Willey, passed away on May 8, 1970 at 48 years of age, after 29 years of marriage. Then, she met Russell Hugh Kelch. He passed away on August 12, 2013 at 80 years of age, after 39 years of marriage.

Preceding Wanda in death are:  one daughter, Judy Mae Gibson (Willey) - Two Husbands, Mirl Willey and Russell Hugh Kelch. One brother, Robert Elmo. Five Sisters – Thelma, Hazel, Mildred, Louise, and Betty. One daughter in law – Donna Willey (Wife of Bobby Willey) Two Grandchildren – Peanut and Rachel and one Great Granddaughter – Mary Jane. Plus both parents – Ethel and Lenna.

Visitations for Wanda Lucille Kelch will be held at the CrossPoint Wesleyan Church with Bill Bowman officiating starting from 10am to 12pm. Services will follow from 12pm to 1:30pm with burial at Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
