Wendell C. Cowdrey

Wendell C. Cowdrey, age 91, passed away surrounded by his family on September 2, 2018. He was the loving father of Kelley (Ed Romero) Cowdrey and Wendy (Frank) Hess, proud grandfather of Chad (Krys) Hess and Kari Hess, and will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Fannie Cowdrey, his wife, Jenny L. Cowdrey, two sisters, Elizabeth Hetrick and Eileen Thornton, and a brother, Victor Cowdrey. Wendell retired from Cincinnati Bell after 36 years of service and was a volunteer fireman at Williamsburg Ohio Fire Department for 27 years with five of those years being Fire Chief. A Memorial Service will take place at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150 on September 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
