William "Bill" F. Rice

William “Bill” F. Rice, passed away suddenly on July 2, 2022, at the age of 81. He was the treasured son of the late Norman and Evelyn Brown, beloved husband of 61 ½ years to Sally A. (née Gowans) Rice, loving, cherished, and kind dad of Carrie (Charles) Hughes and Tracy (Johnny) Burns, proud Pa of William Hughes, Elijah Hughes, Stephanie Burns, Kayla (Mark) Haunert, Shawn Burns, Brooke (Wes) Robertson, and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Madison, Bently, Kinley, Paxton, Winston, Willow, and Judson, dear brother of 3 sisters and one brother, close brother-in-law to Terri “Snot” (Ronnie) Emerson, Chuck (Anna) Gowans, and Sharon Gowans, and wonderful companion to his furbaby, Brutus. Bill graduated from Sycamore High School, proudly served our county in the United States Air Force, retired from United Dairy Farmers after 30 years of years of service, and was a Minister with the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall of Batavia, OH. He ALWAYS had a story to tell! Services are being planned for a later date.
