William "Danny" Ringer

William “Danny” Ringer, born January 19, 1962, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on August 10, 2026, in Blanchester, Ohio. His life was defined by his devotion to family, strong work ethic, and faith, which guided him throughout his life.

Danny began his life in Akron and went on to build a career as a Chrome Plater at a steel mill. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. Throughout his career, he made a lasting impression on those he worked alongside.

Above all, Danny was a devoted family man. He will forever be loved and deeply missed by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Ringer; his children, Apryl Ringer and William “Danny” Ringer Jr.; his brothers, Harry Raymond “Randy” Ringer and Russell Andrew “Andy” (Sharon) Ringer; and his grandchildren, Shyanne Elizabeth Ringer, Jacob Matthew Ringer, Zackery Nicholas Ringer, Dorthy Rebecca Long, William Daniel “DJ” Ringer III, and Christian Dakota Clark. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Danny cherished the time he spent with his loved ones, and those who knew him will remember the deep love he had for his family. His strong faith was evident in the way he faced both life’s joys and challenges.

Danny found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing and the peace and tranquility that came with spending a day on the water. He also had a passion for classic cars, a hobby that gave him the opportunity to admire their craftsmanship, share stories, and connect with friends and family who shared his interest. Above all, however, Danny treasured the moments spent surrounded by the people he loved most. Family was at the heart of his life and a reflection of the love and warmth he shared with others.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Megie Funeral Home Mount Orab, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:00 p.m.

William “Danny” Ringer will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his commitment to his faith and work, and the genuine kindness he showed to everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his life, and his legacy of love, faith, and family will continue through the generations.
