William Walter Storch

William �Bill� Storch, age 83, died on Tuesday, November 4th at Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy (nee Carpenter). Surviving also are their four children; Kurt (Robin), Mark (Deborah), Martha (Ken Ward Jr.) and Andrew (Kate). Bill was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandson, who all lovingly knew him as �Pop�. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was born in Covington, KY and attended Plainville High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1943. He was trained as a Pharmacist Mate, and assigned to support the U.S. Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged, and after WWII, earned a Bachelor�s degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati, and went to work as an accountant. He was also affiliated with the U.S. Army ROTC program while at U.C., and earned a reserve commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. He went on to register as a Certified Public Accountant, and practiced many years in business with his father and brother. He also had a business in Milford for many years. Bill volunteered for many organizations, both as an accountant and photographer. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 9th, at St Thomas Episcopal Church, 101 Miami Ave, Terrace Park.
