Wilma Carpenter

Wilma Carpenter of Mt. Orab, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Blue Ash, Ohio she was 84 years old.  Wilma was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 14, 1939, and raised by the late Nellie Robinson.

Wilma is survived by her loving children Rita (Mike) Fields of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Tracy Carpenter of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Nola (Dennis) Ward of Hamilton, Ohio, and John Carpenter of Warren, Ohio; her 11 adored grandchildren; her 22 cherished great-grandchildren.  Along with her caring sisters Frankie Lawson of Amelia, Ohio, and Selena Malone of Milford, Ohio; and her dear friend Rhonda Fant of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

In addition to her mother Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl Carpenter, her sons Bob Wilson, and Chuck Carpenter, and her siblings Deanna Baker, Glenna McGee, and Lanny King.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice of Cincinnati - Blue Ash for taking such great care of Wilma in her final days, and to the Mt. Orab Church of Christ for their kindness during this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ located at 400 Smith Ave, Mt Orab, OH 45154.  Reverend Roland Luthy will be officiating.
