Tammy was born and raised in Goshen, Ohio to Neal and Jean Collins. She married Barry Sargent in 1980 and has four children, twelve grandchildren, 43 bonus grandchildren, and 2 bonus great-grandchildren. Tammy has been active in her church since the age of four and became an ordained Elder in 2019. She has worked in the funeral industry for more than 26 years and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. She enjoys every opportunity she is given to serve the families in the Tri-State and counts her work as her mission field.
Tom was born and raised in Loveland, Ohio to the late Helen Megie-Rooks and the late Elmore Estley "PeeWee" Megie. He is married to Stacy (née Krebs) Megie and is the father of three: a son, Caleb and two daughters, Courtney and C.J.. Tom also has four grandchildren.
Tom graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in December 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science and has worked in the funeral industry since that time. Since graduation, Tom has dreamed of owning his own funeral home. In January 2006, Tom became the owner of Megie Funeral Home (formerly known as Thompson Funeral Home) in Mount Orab, Ohio. In February 2021, Tom became the owner of Megie Funeral Home & Crematory - Craver Chapel (formerly known as Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory) in Milford, Ohio.
Tom looks forward to serving the families of Mount Orab and Milford and neighboring communities with the honor and dignity that their loved ones deserve.
Stacy was born in Bossier City, Louisiana to Jerry and Carol Krebs and raised in Goshen, Ohio. She married Tom in 1990 and is the mother of Caleb, Courtney and C.J. She is also a grandmother of four.
Stacy worked as a receptionist/secretary in the funeral industry in the past and then worked for 18 years as a paraprofessional in Milford Village Exempted School District at McCormick Elementary. Stacy resigned in December 2021 from Milford Schools to begin working full-time at the funeral home. Stacy enjoys helping Tom with the everyday operations of the funeral home and looks forward to being part of the Mount Orab and Milford communities.
